Medclinician has been very ill but is still continuing to work on both books. Survivor is a work of fiction. But has taken some interesting twists in the plot. The line between fiction and reality is often a thin one.

We have now set a release date for the book of December 1, 2008. At least a version will be available at http://www.avianflutalk.com for 48 hours for free. The book will be under copyright. We are allowing downloads of the ebook manuscript which is still does not include the planner or some features in the paperback. Thanks to all of those in Avian blog community for their support on sites and who acted as moderators early on on this site Your loyalty and persistence in support throughout the years is much appreciated.

Double speak. Data corrections.
I am now informed that the "psychologist" was not a psychologist but a social worker with a Master's in psychology.
Some how this "oversight" continued uncorrected for several weeks evades me. I don't think the term social worker was ever mentioned. In addition the individual source did not
"write the plan", they only wrote portions of the plan dealing with mental hygiene issues during a Pandemic. The meeting had to be postponed due to heavy volume lack of time for meetings. However it has been restated this individual is still connected with Red Cross, highly informed and with many contacts in the Infrastructure. I post this because I do not want this to come back to haunt me. From now on, all meetings and interviews will be taped with my new very efficient MP3 recorder and then there will be no misunderstandings on who is what, working with who, and has special information. I did reconfirm the "planner" individual was at the Pentagon after 9/11 hit and working at Katrina.She is an excellent source of data - but the exact connections to the infrastructure are a bit vague. As with the other individual I may be speaking directly to intelligence or someone fairly highly placed working undercover. The data is very useful from whatever source, and considering the extreme awareness of these people concerning specific disaster details all the way up to the probable handling of of some issues by the President, I will exercise even more extreme caution in verifying sources and data.
Of all the sites on the net, there are only two sites I am listed as a member, not banned, but it has been interesting made impossible for me to post or even speak to other members. So if you notice suddenly for a duration of time there are zero posts, and this is only two sites on the entire Internet, assume I can no longer post at those locations. Focus must be on helping people, and my sites get enough traffic, from 500,000 to a million hits over time. Counters up are not accurate as far as hits. I use utilities to monitor real hits. Often many users come through cloaked, but they are logged by other site detection. My first Avian site year, there were over 500,000 hits.
Also as the book approaches, several moderate profile bloggers have cut contact wth Medclinician. In all fairness,
95% of the sites have been very open minded, courteous, and I still post there. Some sites after years of silence, I still post at and am welcome at. It has been the height of irony that at times lists of hundreds of cases have been listed with only 5 verified and this has not been disturbing to some. You might call them manufactured epidemics and outbreaks. Better to post less real verified cases, that hundreds of names which were never verified.
There are cases of verified Avian in the U.S. You can go to CIDRAP or CDC and find them. There have been hundreds of denials of Avian in North America. There was high path in Texas which was witnessed by USDA and posted all over the net. Just because it is not Asian Avian Clade does not mean it is not dangerous or can mutate into a human form which can start a Pandemic. H7 is a nasty one and a great mutator and H7N3 is very much a possible serious problem. You can have what is defined by some as low path in birds, where 6 out of 10 birds in the chicken yard die. Then they go into gene sequence technogenoland and explain it is not high path.
Although humans are said no to have high path, if 83% die in Indonesia when infected - if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck - and dies like a duck even though it is human and it is not diagnoses as Avian - well i think you get the gist.
Stay tuned. A lot of people have helped me a lot in the book and also gathering data. Death comes in threes.

One of the current, major credibility issue is the book. For one, I am a published author and not vanity pubished but by a major publishing company. I have chosen to separate the genre - from other writing because of its seriousness and extreme need for solid credibility.
Many want to be Avian experts and establish some sort of hierarchy of visibility. I want neither. The Medclinician Foundation will be in place and be run by my wife, associates, and will be left to my son as my legacy to a beautiful and brilliant son who I am very proud of. Medclincian's time on the planets limited. But then so is it for all of it. As I read on a tombstone once, "As you are, I once was, and as I am you someday will be." I may not live to see the coming of the Pandemics or my son even enter 1st grade. That does make me sad. When I am gone, people for the most part will go back over the thousands of posts and find a great deal of truth, and perhaps I can leave some kind of John Connor to fight the viral sized terminators that will sweep our planet.
My approach will be simple. Publish the book, go on cable, and become a known public figure. I do not wish to forever to live in blogland in Wizard of Oz fashion.
One of my greatest moments in life, before my father's death, was the copy of one of my books my father kept on hismost hallowed book shelf. It was was a testament in my life that at least I had become not a a wanna be writer, but a published author.
Sorry this time we can't just crank out Bantam or Doubleday right off, because we need to get the book out, and that means a freebie download for 48 hours to the planet and enough bandwidth to do so.
So enough gonna do, and now I must although pretty burnt - 5 hours posting on blogs since 3 a.m.continue -

I received a call last night by a psychologist who told me that I am to meet with people with the .gov for a disaster debriefing and to be informed further of what is in place and planned for action in a Pandemic. I am no one important. Yet I am meeting with someone who wrote the disaster plan for entire large state.
We were on CBS affiliate news and will be on again soon. And there is a grassroots movement to coordinate what I am trying to do, and the people I am meeting with, with what .gov has in place. I am to be disaster debriefed. And now I am sad what I have said about the white trucks with red crosses. I don't know if what I said helped or not, but they want to meet with me and teach us, (I am an RN and medclinician) to triage in advance with hundreds of families in a drill, and then in turn assign them to appropriate government support facilities which will be functions in the Pandemic.
This was a surprise to me. And this concept will spread through the cities of our state, and eventually connect to federal. I am trying to bring the voice of the people, not my voice alone, to the powers that be. I am working with top psychologist to predict the behavior based past disasters and how to deal with that when it happens. No one in .gov has any doubt a Pandemic coming. Dr. Julie Gerberding at CDC I have a growing respect for. As I talk to CDC and NOSHA and 'the mask designers' it is clear that this book is important.
So much so, that now I have a team of 5 people working with me, and that team is growing by the day, to get it finished. Some civilians, but doctors, PHDs in many fields, especially psychology.
We must predict people's reaction to the Pandemic. And we must get our communities ready. I will be filing the final papers the Medclinician Foundation. If you want to help us, we could use the help. I am no longer going to say that money would not help. It will. We are trying to develop the masks; we even have contacts with virologists working on a vaccine which could be given before the Pandemic.
Understand, I do not take my part in this any agenda. The book needs to get out there. The survival packs for you and your families need to go up on line. The clock is ticking and sometimes I feel like there these warlords of the blog world each with their own turf, users, and philosophy.
We are running out of time to philosophize. I was told by the psychologist, John, it is time to go beyond words and posts and the Internet. So we met with people, and I find the .gov is looking for solutions. Trying with what resources they have to get ready. They want to survive as well.
It I (with help) get the book, the packs, and the masks out there. If we can reach other states and cities and set up programs to dovetail government with civilians so that we don't wind up with city states and we can preserve our country through the terrible Pandemics and plagues which are drawing closer, as in the background enemy government wait to knock us down and destroy America, they will not prevail. Democracy, in its purest form will be reborn. It will take years, but we will rebuild the United States of America, and we will make it against, the most powerful, the most united, and the greatest nation on earth.

Medclinician has the Flu (how ironic) and a fever. One does not want to be like Sanford and Son who used to
clutch his chest and say "this is it, this is the big one" - always thinking he would have a heart attack. It's a creepy thing, this flu author and editorial and research. You catch something and in your mind you always think (especially with a high fever - I wonder.
Of course, as been much disputed- someone very close to me did have Avian in the U.S. and went into V.A. with 103 temp - they tested and got at least the H5. Then they would just say it was type A and not type B - Isn't type a bird flu? Those results are gone now, but ironically in my friend, with a simple antibody test, that which was erased can easily be proved and released to the media.
Not a good idea. This would cause many many frowns. Everyone knows that H5 does not exist in humans in the U.S. and there never has been a documented case.
Well, that same someone is hoping the fever won't go up to 103.... again and is taking a lot of Vitamin C. Of course - disclaimer disclaimer - like watching a stunt man - don't try this yourself at home kids - or I am not an M.D. and cannot suggest anyone even consider that Vitamin C can be used to fight Avian.
I can say, I wrote to one man in Vietnam who had had it and his wife as well. His wife did not use the C - and wound up on a respirator and nearly died over 6 weeks in ICU. He took X amount and was over it in 4 days.. kind of like a severe flu - but nothing but bed rest, fluids, and whatever.
There was a big hoopla over a type of cabbage orientals use which was even published in a book for Avian. At least it was going to be published. Who knows.
So, ironic. There is some really nasty Alpha virus going around and of course nasty Brisbane, and H3N2.
Unlikely it will be H5N1. And as for Tamiflu, well after mutation last flu season which formed a strain resistant to it - so much for Tamiflu.
No one is talking a lot about Relenza. It does work (according to a lot of sci links and studies) and is our last hope -

Also survivor packs and some very cool masks that actually can filter the tiny virus rather than current masks which only filter salt particles and the virus goes right through.

Be well - and this site is not for one country - it is for everyone - and that means everyone to help survive a flu epidemic. All races, religions, and countries. We all need to survive. Yes I know. If those out to all faiths, then of course the post Avian world will still contain X number Muslim and Hindu and Christian and Pagans and whole lot.
There was talk of a designer virus which would be selective racially, and that would be a big genocide of the last thousand years. Would it mutate?
Is there stuff, custom weapons in Class 5 labs, like London- Avian that is high path, loves humans, and would the Buffy People slayer that would be like Ebola on steroids? What do you think? Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out. Over the last 20 years defensive research is a euphemism for active bioweapon development. Be serious. Mind the healer, mind the slayer.
There was talk of a modified hantavirus developed by a virologist who had a life span of about 3 days after he cranked this one out. It was said to be one the most deadly, could hide asymptomatic for weeks and then boom. Kills in hours. This scientist died in a parking garage after a gang attack. Okay.
You know some people think I am just not serious enough and professional enough about all of this. I always like Hemingway. He was a cool writer. A drunk, a womanizer, and probably didn't take a lot of baths, but a cool writer.
He wrote at 5th or 6th grade level.
So I some of these really thick articles and posts that read like a math book. They are great I guess for whatever clique crown you hand with all the letters after their names - and the semi-deified real higher ups.
Ironically I spent 14 years in college, pre-med - worked as kind of doctor in Germany and 101st Airborne- well that was the pin -I wore a lab coat and treated patients.
We got to do a lot of things during Vietnam you couldn't do in the states.
And we look for a vaccine that can be created before we even know the strain. Now there's a trick for you. What if say, we could give a vaccine that would give you a 30 titer which is terrific and then a booster which shot you up to 50 which in viro talk basically says - this will do it. Kill the virus at stimulate your immune system so you will make your own little killers.
Wouldn't it be nice.
They TPTB didn't take that one seriously until last year.
Yes, I know, my post on my own site give the term stream of consciousness free association a painful stomach cramp for some.
In life they always say be yourself. So some of us try to get away from all the complete pseudo intellectual and the wizards of Avian knowledge and just tell it like it is.
Do you want to live. Do you want to Survive. We - and it is not just one lonely errant free radical - but a team and some are top psychologists, doctors, and all the people with the letters and in universities, that I often think are so serious are helping. I appreciate that. You will get a good book. And it will help you and your family make it. The disease is going to take out some no matter what we do. A lot of people will be like some horror movie in each others arms, looking very cadaver like and very dead, and there will be those with natural immunity.

We had a meeting in our small town and we were even on T.V. We will on T.V. more and radio and I look forward to meeting many of you in person. I will go out there on the road with the book and it is not the messenger, nor looks, nor brilliance, it is the message. Have a couple of people with incredible survival sites.
Medclinician is finally I guess humble himself and accept donations and help for the foundation - non-profit - real deal. Course before I could even go there - we have a lot of pages asking for money.
Well, we need to get those masks to you and get them certified by OSHA. And we need more staff.
It is late in the heart of West Virginia, and down below me, miles below coal miners are working there butts off, even female miners, mining coal. Want a clue.
Two thousand feet below me is one the purest coal veins on the planet. You can walk outside a mile away and take pickaxe and there are coal seams in the mountain next to the road.
The whole power grid could shut down, but the coal energy plants would keep on chugging away.

"I am not the only one.."
A few days ago someone comment - What has happened, has Avian disappeared? Far from it.
For one, we have outbreaks all over the U.S. and globally, but most never make it to mainstream because they are not Asian H5N1.
I just posted on http://medclinician.com and also on http://avianflutalk.com concerning the outbreak of H5N8 in Idaho. These are the dark horses of our coming - we won't say the A word - We will just say Pandemic.
It very likely that what jumps into upper respiratory tract airborne and nasty will not be H5N1. Not a personal opinion, such things have been stated by the head of CDC, and very credible doctors and virologists. In fact, H7N3 is very prevalent.
One amazing fact is that we can have a "new definition low path" that kills 53% of the birds in the barnyard. You can do anything with statistics and especially gene sequences. You can take a real killer in the bird populations and for the sake of the poultry industry and economics, label it low path and then say - be sure and cook your chicken and you will be fine.
We live in the world of the microwave. It is VERY common for us to have that telltale icy center and one has to be sure, that is not cooked enough to kill anything.
Working on the serious book PNSG of which I have posted the outline. Bluebird has been pretty busy taking care mini-Medclinican - and could use some help and suggestions on especially the women chapters - taking care of babies, toddlers, and children as well as women's issues.
I simply cannot write this part. I should not. It needs to be written by a female. I know about Pediatrics and etc. But let's be real - women have been raising children mostly for a million years. Would like to hear from you on this.
There are outbreaks in Iraq, Vietnam, and Mexico. Indonesia simply WILL NOT report or reports almost not at all while having a death rate in Avian human patients of over 80%.
Think about this. If we were in Zaire - and this was Ebola - and honestly if we get airborne Avian Flu in humans as it can exist at cooler temperatures, has mutated to bond in sites especially in humans, and is moving up the airway, we would have swarms of scientists in bunny suits on this.
The average protective mask was rated to strain a salt sized particle. We are working on better masks, and have contacted OSHA - but this will not cut it with a virus sized infective flu. It will go through this like sand through a spaghetti strainer.
Flu season is approaching. We need to prep. Complacency as per head of the CDC, is one of our biggest enemies.
Don't panic, prepare. But most of my friends are coughing, sick, with lung problems, intestinal, or both.
We have flu free announcements from South Korea and less than a month ago we have a dead cat with Avian and where did the cat get it? Just a few months before it was a major outbreak.
It is good we have official sites for people to go to, but they need to be current. We can't rely on reports that are released 6 months after the event hits.
I have posted on medclinician.com on h5n8 in Idaho. This is a reportable strain. Anything H5 or H7 is. H5 and H7 are mutators.
Trying to finish the book as we still try to track the outbreaks. It is tough.

As some materials are gone through finishing the book they will be put up on scratch pad. I still will be continuing on Survivor (the fiction book) a little. I estimate I think the main documents utilized in PNSG are about 22,000. I am trying to bring in a team of psychiatrists and social people and teachers for the projections on the reaction of people in the part of the book as to what people will do when the Pandemic hits.
I seriously don't think any in depth enough studies have been done recently to be useful to the powers that be in terms of what people are going to do. This is not as complex as you might think. It is the quantifying putting out some real brand new numbers in the book which are going be a challenge. Example the Tsunami which hit South East Asia provides a lot of data. Earthquakes, tornados, riots in Africa, civil unrest - but one real challenge is what happen in the heartland of America.
We can extrapolate from third world, but what happens in New York? We walk to psychiatrists, police, etc. who were there during power blackouts. People who remember LA riots, and a real useful database is Katrina. Katrina where 50% of law enforcement - well no need to be painful. Just as the nurses who ran down the road in the outbreak of Ebola in Africa. A kind way to say it is- people will make choices. Hard ones. We have to anticipate those choices. What kind of work will we have left? Any? Where does it fall apart?
What can do prep wise to re-enforce the infrastructure. I don't have time to apply for a grant and a zillion dollars with a team of experts to do this.
There is a point here, why I am writing this. That is - you can help. Nope, not soliciting dollars. No, hat passing. That is to say, you can write with opinions and data links to medclinician@gmail.com. Every person, without qualification who contributes data and help on this will be listed. That includes websites, and organizations. Our challenge is time.

The non-fiction Pandemic Book is coming very soon. Maybe weeks. Be well and prosper boy that sounds familiar. And the book will be here soon.
Well, I was enjoying writing on Survivor, but if you will check out the Pandemic Now - Survivor's Guide tab and the outline - it is time for me to bite the bullet and do this one. Honestly, my domestic situation, my health situation, my life situation, has been better. But you know how things are, that little door that opens, the one of opportunity never opens when we are quite ready for it and we must step through it nonetheless. I care about you all and I think (as the very very insignificant a person that I am) I owe it to the world with my medical experience, so many years taking care of patients and hearing so many things to get this book to you to help you survive the COMING Pandemic. Dr. Julie Gerberdine said - a few days ago pretty much what I and other have been posting for years. Only a month ago two people died in Indonesia and this time there were no birds involved and it was H5N1. It has now spreadable through person to person transmission. We have documented this. It has been able to go to your bowels, organs, even brain and tested positive on rectal swabs. There have been cases in the United States of lethal forms of Bird Flu in people. I hate typing that. I really do. Because it is in the U.S., whatever HxNy, and none of them are insignificant, and several of them are every bit as mutating and dangerous as H5N1. I have read at least case who died and so just because its not H5N1 doesn't mean it can't kill you. And just because its low path, doesn't mean it can't go high path in less than 6 month. And let's face it - Dr. G clearly stated the death rate for this disease as verified by WHO was 63%.
Not 2% or 5% both of which could hit us like a brick. 63%. And in Indonesia they have stopped counting and it is 83% sometimes.
Having a good book on this matters. I truly respect people who have posted and worked and put thousands of hours of their lives into prepping and sharing information, but someone has got to put this in a package and give to you for you to have when it hits.
If you have saved those thousands of pages or printed them out, perhaps that will be helpful when the lights go out and the net dies. And that will happen - eventually. We all know that, at least those who have really researched this and you cannot run power stations, and hospitals, and law enforcement, with no people. If you have 5% dying, you have 55% at least sick, and either not able to work or taking care of others. Based on the current death rates for people who get it, one cannot confidently say, well, if it goes Pandemic all of a sudden the death rate will drop to 2%. This is not an atomic explosion. It does not fan out. History supports this. The Great Plague and Black Death killed 1/3 of Europe. It didn't thin out and get less infective or deadly. Besides already having 3 Pandemics Now, we are overdue. Each year, have a 25% or so (British science study) of a Pandemic. Not if, but when. The mention of this book is beginning to show up on blogs and the net. I have even received invitations to post a link to this site.
I'm not competing with anybody guys and women people. I am not trying to famous, and should I make any money on this, it will be toilet paper in a Pandemic. Money will be worthless. A can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew should be the price of a paperback-that would be a lot more useful than paper money.
We all wish to survive. The good news is that even if it were a really rough Pandemic, many people will live to continue humanity. So at first book in e-book download this will be pretty much a freebee. Yea.. it costs a few bucks to download. I am pouring my every waking hour into it, and I have a wife and a child and they aren't exactly happy about the hours spent researching bird flu instead of trudging to work and making a lot more money. We have several paperback publishers and Lulu.com could get it fairly quickly. My first choice is the real deal, where you get paid, not pay to publish your book.
This isn't a gotcha book like many books are. You thumb through the book, look at the cover, buy it, and rarely can go back to the bookstore and say - you know, this book was really bad and I want my money back. Thanks to those who have been helping me with news, editing, and over all emotional support. They have given new meaning to the old Rolling Stones song, emotional rescue.
Everyone can write, but to write well, there is the challenge. So begins the first rewrite of Survivor. It started pretty interesting, but has major flaws in character and plot development. Too many people, too many threads of story line, and too many jumps. The Love Boat was bad with 3 running lines and really that is as much as you can go. So we'll go back to the beginning, and painfully, rewrite. It is said the Sidney Sheldon http://www.hachettebookgroupusa.com/features/sidneysheldon/index.html with more than 300 million books in print died last year. Ah, to have such a legacy.
Since for the moment none of us can immortal, we have two choices really. Have children, which I do, and continue our Bloodline (Sidney Sheldon's very popular book) or create. For those fortunate enough their creations, art, literature, music, and painting go beyond their physical death.
Survivor is more than a book about the Pandemic and World War III. It opens which a man much like many of us, struggling to survive on many levels. Already having lost a wife and child, and be plunged in the most dismal of depressions, he finds himself like Marty in Young Frankenstein while digging a grave and thinking how very very difficult life had become and stating - well it could be raining - and in moments - it was.
You are all part of the neverending story. And their are millions who have watched their relationships breakup on the reef and ship descend into the cold depths of oblivion.
This is a story about survival. Not only physical, but mental. And just at the point when our protagonist believes it can get no worse, and all is lost, the world as he knows it, effectively comes to an end.
The worlds as we know it will shortly change a great deal. Unlike the past, there will be no need for a great revolution such as started America or in France - for we are beyond a great revolution. The powers that exist that rule the world are so entrenched, that no one could to change them.
It will be the coming of World War III and the blue vial - that genetically engineered virus that will make all that is safety, no longer a refuge. And as the Bible has said they will flee to mountains, and beg them to fall upon them - and more clearly
"When you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies... flee to the mountains... depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter" (Luke 21:20-21)
"But you his grandson, O Belshazzar, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from His temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. And worse than that, you praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in His hand your life and all your ways. Therefore He sent the hand that wrote the inscription. This is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN." Daniel read the words off of the wall before turning to face the king and solemnly announce, "this is what these words mean: MENE: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. TEKEL: You have been weighed in the scales and found wanting. PERES: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians."
A hard saying this is, is it not. And one we must strive to avoid. It is time when we must change, make peace, and somehow recover the spirt of love, kindness, and for those who will return to the foundation of our liberty, and faith in God. The vials of wrath which will be poured upon us in these last days will be pestilence, famine, and a time of great trouble which will come and truly if not for the mercy of God, humankind will surely end.
And course many will hear these words and they will fall like rain, which forms mighty rivers and the ocean which can shape and level the mightiest mountain. It is not through cunning we will come live together in peace. The change that we speak of and is shouted by those wishing to take power of our nation - it is not a change of the governors, it is a change of the governed. We must learn to care even more - for we are our brothers and sisters keeper. It is our responsibility to shrug off two generation of complacenty and apathy, and to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing them, end them.
We do not live in a country, we live in a world connected by the Internet, and it will be the same, if the tower is stricken down and the people are scattered once more, isolated, alone, apart.
Survivor is what could be. It is what may be. And it is what we must prepare for, and pray or in whatever way we can in our lives nd actions, make effort to ensure - must not be.
The elections are coming. Vote wisely. Never before has he survival of human kinds been so in the balance. Somewhere as I write in Cheyene mountain the keepers of the vials of wrath, the birds prey, which could end our world diligently watch for the launch of the missiles which will their mountain of refuge into a crater. And among us are cells of those who hate our nation and seek to destroy it, and our places of sanctuary, entered by even a female martyr, who is unknown, and undetected, will turn the underground cities of safety, in a mausoleum, of death.
As was said in Logan's Run - when he set trembling his hand scanned to report what he had found -
"There is no sanctuary, Logan 5" . Since 9/11 - our enemies are among us."
Prepare, and as I watch the rising sun, for I always am up in the early hours, pacing on the balcony, waiting for yet another day, the words of song play over in my mind.

It only a song of course - and Survivor is only fiction.
There is no call to revolution. That which is to be, will be. For Jeus said when enticed by the Pharisees and given the coin - Whose inscription is here is here upon - and they said Caesar's. So, it was said and written - pay your taxes, submit yourselves and and wait for change is upon us - render as you must unto Caesar that which Ceasar's and unto God, that which is God's.
Surely, if Jesus were to come once more, or if the Imam of Muslims were to appear, either by assassin or drone he would once again, die. In your hearts you know the truth. You know what is, and you know how things have become.
This may be quite a put off to many, but be assured, the earth is filled with those who believe iin God by the billions. By whatever name, whatever philosphy, nonetheless, God is not dead but lives.
The Pandemics to come are the great equalizers. They virus knows no religion, no politics, no war. The warrirors will drop in their tracks, guns and rockets and launchers in hand.. and know truly.. that God is God.

Have been so busy following current events have had little time to write more on the book. Do remember this is the very very rough first draft. And it is not Pandemic Now - it is fiction.
Should be putting up a new chapter tomorrow morning. This will be put up on lulu.com not far off. Somewhere in Iran people are waiting and preparing. Yes, those in the Middle East are troubled as well. And those across from Iran are on full alert. Thanks to many people who have written emails, sent in links, and have helped me. We are part of the neverending story that lapses between fiction and reality - and as Edgar Allen Poe said.. Despite all we see or seem - life is but a dream within a dream within a dream.
Sometime the nightmares of yesterday become the realities of tomorrow.

Welcome to Medclinician's News and Author site. Today, August 31, 2008, we stand at a crossroads in world events. It is a time when we watch the unfolding of world events which will most certainly greatly effect the history of humankind - the approaching of one or more Global Disease Pandemics and the almost certain outbreak of Middle Eastern hostilities which could bring us to World War III. The content of this blog is primary designed and posted by myself under the author name, Medclinician. A brief bio is on the back cover of my book, Pandemic Now - Survivor's Guide under that tab above. The outline of the coming non-ficiton book has been posted for the first time on the net yesterday and the book itself is nearing completion.

Primarily on this site you can watch the novel Survivor as it is written. It is in its very first rough draft and the character development, even content are very very raw and yet for the sake of other authors and the curious, it is posted here. It will be put up free (there is some small download fee at Lulu.com) in several weeks. It will be available in paperback within 60 days, (or in weeks if we decide to jump ahead of a regular publisher and on to Bantam.) The same applies to Pandemic Now - Survivor's Guide. It will be ebooked for minimal download fee, and go to paperback. So for now those interested in books can come here to check out how they are going.
Other sites: I have a primary site at http://medclinician.com This is the true home page of MC. It is simple beyond simple, with commentary and news editorial that conforms to the paramters of a basic news site. It is getting traffic in the hundreds of thousands. People are reading. I primarily post interactively on http://avianflutalk.com. As of late, I have been rather drawn into reporting on the Gulf Crisis and situation with the impending attack on Iran. Some fiction is very close to fact, and the novel Survivor is so close, it may be in a way a whole new different form of genre in terms of reality writing, which seems to have evolved in such novels as China Syndrome, The Day After, and a recent Avian Flu Pandemic film we have been working with a studio in Australia on based on Survivor.
The Avian Community: There are government sites, set up as blogs where MC has posted, other sites as as FluWiki and even science sites where I have posted on medical research and discussion groups.
This site is not constucted using a simple package so it is harder to do and change things.
Enjoy the writing if you find it interesting, feel free to write me at medclinician@yahoo.com and after a few emails and I get to know you we can talk on the phone. Everyone of you, including the man who gave permission to use the photo, is part of the story Survivor. It is a novel that writes itself in some ways by daily events which occur. Yet, it has fast forwarded a bit in terms of the outbreak of war and the Pandemic. It is highly likely Survivor will happen as it has been written in the real world.
MC is verbose, and that is a family trait of many generations. I care about you all, from all countries, all faiths, old and young, every race. MC loves humankind and wishes very much to help save lives through his writing. There is no desire for personal fame or riches. MC believes in God, and I do think these are the End of Days - the times of great tribulations as spoken of by many prophets and holy men. As much as I would like to get the word out to the highest and most powerful leaders, and have in some cases done so, this is my way. The pen is mightier than the sword.
Sincerity, honesty, and caring about others are things lost during these times, and is said - in the last days there shall be a loss of natural affection, and brother shall betray brother, and husband, wife and wife, husband. Children shall rebel and turn on their parents and parents shall abandon their children.
I believe what I write about matters. I that people, happiness, and a belief in a higher power are more important than all the money and power in the world. We each must tread our path in our secret journey of enlightenment and discovery, with the changes faces of those who have power over us, with our families, our lovers, our friends, and even our animals, who in their way, to me, are as much people and souls as the incredibly vain human race is.
Thank you for you time. You have given me a small part of the most precious thing you have in reading - your life. My prayers are with you all, and believe truly I pray deeply for peace and love which transcends all races, and philosophies. We need to end war, fighting, hatred, and learn to tolerate each others different views of our existence.
Learn to care and love others more than yourself, and perhaps you may even find that you have an immortal soul which will exist beyond this life. It is the greatest discovery you will ever make, and loving others is your most important purpose second to discovering what is beyond what you can see.
