First, even while under construction as new Pandemic news hits, we will try to post it here. There will soon be link which will transport users here to a sub forum as well as other news tape, resources. There is definitely news, outbreaks, and mutations which continue to occur. However we could not hope to offer a complete support prep site as well as news, book ordering location, and massive prep information site. So, the abilities of design greatly exceed a lot of what is out there- Simple Machine - and this as I understand is licensed and is not free. More people will be coming on board as we set up the Medclinician Foundation. It, as the book, was two years in the making and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Thank you for those who have stuck it out and come to visit to see what is happening and most of all we seriously intend to offer you one of the best free Pandemic Prep and News sites that exists. Those wish to participate can, once we set up memberships and such, but for now we are facing an upcoming event and so - let us move forward.

It would appear that most of the countries surrounding China are having outbreaks of Avian Flu in birds and sometimes people. Getting this news, which I have been posting elsewhere on the network is getting tougher by the day. China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Japan, North and South Korea, Northeastern Russian and even Iran are dealing with Avian outbreaks. In some countries such as Indonesia they have stopped reporting altogether. We certainly have no desire to be the core news or forum for Avian. We will be listing many other sites and government solid sites as well - such as CIDRAP.

This was put up very recently. We will be posting more obscure and harder to find news on this site as opposed to general and widespread and commonly known Avian news else where. If you want to come here to find tidbits and news that is not that easy to find, no problem with that. If you want to give us credit for the find, it would be appreciaed - but we are here to bring you the news and breaking new things that are a lot of other places. The site is free, and you don't have to register to read. The forum will be up soon and you are welcome to join and participate. Not sure on the date for the alert level being raised in Hong Kong - but this formal release is July 2008.
